🌎 International Incentives

We're requiring Pro plans for international incentives as of November 1st, 2022. Turns out they require a ton of support, and we're launching a ton of improvements.

We're requiring Pro plans for international incentives as of November 1st, 2022. Turns out they require a ton of support, and we're launching a ton of improvements.

As we get close to 200,000 research incentives issues to 170+ countries, it's important to us we keep the best experience for our customers and the participants that are paid via Ethnio. Some upcoming improvements that we want to properly support:

  • Cancellations - for any reward that has not been redeemed, you'll be able to cancel and receive immediate...
  • Refunds - both credit cards and invoices as funding sources will now get instant refunds for cancelled rewards
  • Transaction History - see all orders, surcharges, and funding sources in one place with filters
  • Redeem Links - direct access to redeem links as soon as you issue them, in case you need to send them directly to participants.

This does mean that we can no longer offer international incentives on the Starter and Plus plans, mostly because the cost of supporting our growing demand for international audiences of all kinds costs quite a lot of money. It's really as simple as that. Especially because we're a lean team of six without ever taking VC money, the ship needs to run smoothly.

Thank you to our customers who continue to issue an astounding amount of research incentives and drop us a line at info@ethn.io with any questions at all.
